Use the packed dimensions
Measure cases including wheels and handles. Record the number of cases of each size. Two bags described as large can have very different shapes and loading requirements.
Include everything carried separately
Count cabin bags, shopping bags and a stroller in addition to checked luggage. Tell the operator whether a wheelchair or sports bag is also travelling. The vehicle must accommodate the full load safely, not just the airline baggage allowance.
Review the return load
Shopping or equipment collected during the trip can change the return journey requirements. Update your luggage inventory before the return pickup and ask whether the confirmed category remains suitable.
